About the Event

From the sails of ships to the sumptuous robes of monarchs, textiles have played a fascinating and versatile role in human history. Join historian and fiber enthusiast Elisa Eiger as she recalls the pivotal role they played in the American Revolutionary War and in the Industrial Revolution.

This event will be held virtually via WebEx. Those who register will receive a link upon complete registration. 

This program is free and open to the public, and presented by the Passaic County Board of County Commissioners and the City of Clifton. It is funded in part by the Passaic County Cultural Heritage Council, a parent of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
