About the Event
Join speaker Samuel C. Still III, 3rd great-grandson of Levin and Charity Still, in describing their early beginnings as enslaved Africans and their progeny. This lecture will share a real-life story of an American family raised with strong work values, as well as pride and self-determination, persevering through life challenges despite a lack of formal education and prejudices.
Registration is required. Guided tours of the Hamilton House Museum will follow the lecture.
