About the Event
Growing herbs is a satisfying pastime, and so is turning them into delicious creations. This hands-on class will delve into the world of herbal beverages: a fun and easy way to use the plants we grow or purchase. We will craft herbal simple syrups, tasty teas, infused lemonades, herbal shrubs, and mixers that can be used for cocktails or sparkling water. We will be using common herbs that would have been grown at Hamilton House. Join historian and herbalist Morrie Shafer for this hands-on class. We will be tasting our creations, and taking home an herbal simple syrup.
Registration is required; $15.00 per person.
